Natalie is a Registered Dietitian and Board Certified Specialist in Pediatric Nutrition with extensive experience in pediatric GI nutrition. She began her career at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite, where she cared for a diverse population of pediatric patients across the Gastroenterology, AFLAC Cancer Center, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and Inpatient Rehabilitation units. She joined GI Care for Kids and Atlanta Pediatric Nutrition shortly after completing her pediatric-focused dietetic internship.

A native of Atlanta, Natalie developed a passion for nutrition after being diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in middle school. After trying multiple medications, she began exploring the role of nutrition in managing her disease and has successfully used the Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD) as part of her approach since high school. Her personal experience, combined with her clinical expertise, has made her a sought-after provider for children and families navigating inflammatory bowel disease.

Natalie has presented on “Successful Implementation of the Specific Carbohydrate Diet in Children” at the Specific Carbohydrate Diet Association’s SCD Rocks Conference. She has also been a guest on Nutrition Pearls: The Pediatric GI Nutrition Podcast, contributed to Nutrition4IBD.com, and was featured in Simply Buckhead Magazine in an article about building healthy relationships with food.

Natalie graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and completed her pediatric-focused dietetic internship at The Ohio State University, including rotations at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She is one of only 30 dietitians in Georgia who are Board Certified Specialists in Pediatric Nutrition and serves as a preceptor for dietetic interns from across the country who are interested in pediatric nutrition.

Natalie enjoys helping children and families navigate a variety of nutrition and GI-related conditions, with particular interests in inflammatory bowel disease, poor growth, feeding difficulties, food allergies, EoE, and FPIES. She takes a family-centered approach and enjoys helping families find practical, sustainable nutrition strategies that fit their individual needs.

Outside of work, Natalie enjoys cooking, practicing yoga, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Natalie is available for appointments at our main office and virtually.
