Barbara, affectionately known as Babs, has been a Registered Dietitian for more than 10 years. She earned her Master of Health Science from Georgia State University in 2014 and spent six and a half years working in both inpatient and outpatient settings at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Babs specializes in infant feeding, weight management, picky eating, and eating disorders. She also brings several years of experience working with individuals and groups at the Atlanta Center for Eating Disorders. Her diverse clinical background includes providing private weight management counseling in home settings and nutrition consultations in pediatric and adult medical offices.
Babs has a genuine passion for helping others and takes a holistic approach to nutrition, recognizing that our relationship with food is influenced by far more than what is on our plate. She enjoys helping clients explore the many lifestyle factors that support a healthy relationship with food and overall well-being.
Outside of work, Babs enjoys traveling the country with her family in their camper van, volunteering at a local dog shelter, and spinning records on her vintage turntable. She loves hiking and feels most at home when she is connecting with the great outdoors. Babs is passionate about nourishing the mind, body, and soul while also being mindful of caring for our planet.
