Alexandra (Alex) is a bilingual Registered Dietitian with more than 10 years of experience in pediatric nutrition. She earned her degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University and completed her dietetic internship at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, including rotations at both Cornell and Columbia. She went on to complete a Pediatric Nutrition Fellowship and worked as a Clinical Dietitian at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital.
Alex later joined Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami, where she worked in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and gained extensive experience caring for children with complex medical and nutritional needs. Throughout her hospital career, she provided comprehensive nutrition assessments and individualized nutrition plans for children with a wide range of conditions, including gastrointestinal disorders, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, celiac disease, food allergies, feeding difficulties, poor growth, and weight management needs. She also has experience providing nutrition care for children with renal disease.
Alex currently works as an outpatient pediatric dietitian and joined Atlanta Pediatric Nutrition in 2024. She is passionate about helping children and families navigate nutrition challenges and developing practical, individualized nutrition plans to support each child’s health and growth.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys cooking, going to the gym, traveling, and spending time with her family, including her 6-year-old son and 2-year-old daughter.

Subsequently she completed a Pediatric Nutrition Fellowship program and worked as Clinical Dietitian at Morgan Stanley Children's hospital.
She then took a prestigious position at Nicklaus Children's Hospital Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in Miami Florida. During her years working in the hospital setting, she worked with various pediatric populations. She provided nutrition assessments and plans for children with multiple diseases including GI disorders and diseases such as Crohn's and Ulcerative Colitis, Celiac Disease, food allergies, feeding difficulties, failure to thrive, weight management and more. Alex also has experience working with patients who have renal disease.
Alex currently works as an outpatient pediatric dietitian and joined Atlanta Pediatric Nutrition in 2024 to continue to help and provide nutrition plans for the pediatric population.
