Natalie is a Registered Dietitian who grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. She became interested in Nutrition after being diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in middle school. After trialing many medications, Natalie turned to diet to help manage her disease. She has successfully treated her Crohn’s disease through use of the Specific Carbohydrate Die
Natalie is a Registered Dietitian who grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. She became interested in Nutrition after being diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in middle school. After trialing many medications, Natalie turned to diet to help manage her disease. She has successfully treated her Crohn’s disease through use of the Specific Carbohydrate Diet since high school.
Natalie graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Nutrition Dietetics and went on to complete her dietetic internship at The Ohio State University. She joined Atlanta Pediatric Nutrition and GI Care for Kids shortly after completing her internship. She enjoys helping families navigate a variety of nutrition related diagnoses including inflammatory bowel disease, overweight/obesity, failure to thrive, feeding difficulties and food allergies.
Natalie also works at Children’s Health Care of Atlanta where she has worked with a variety of patient populations including GI, the AFLAC Cancer Center, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit.
Outside of work, Natalie enjoys cooking, yoga, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
